Working in an extraordinarily beautiful and peaceful environment set in the South Downs, Roz's classes focus on gentle but powerful exercises designed to help us to reconnect with ourselves. Roz's approach is grounded, practical, balanced and empathic. In her individual yoga classes the sessions are aimed at providing a rounded experience that focuses on allowing students to identify their emotional obstacles; working toward and ultimately realising their true potential.

As human beings we all have emotional needs that should be met in a balanced way if we are to live happy and fulfilled lives. In the same way as we need to eat in order to stay alive and eating too much or too little, or bad food, will effect us negatively so it is with our emotions. When our emotional needs are not met it can lead us to experience difficulties such as depression, tiredness, disturbed sleep, irritability, panic attacks or phobias; we may find ourselves having relationship difficulties, obsessive thoughts, anger problems or feeling helpless, isolated and worthless. These are all natural indicators. Roz encourages her clients to recognise where and why their needs are not being met and to explore the patterns and expectations in their lives that have become obstacles. From there she may help you to consider what you can do to bring your life back in to balance; often straightforward changes in your lifestyle or responses can make a world of difference to both yourself and the people around you.


Positive Change From Counselling
Following an initial free twenty-minute introductory assessment in which you and her can establish whether Roz's approach may be suitable for you, Roz offers one-hour individual sessions. Depending on their commitment and self-awareness many people very soon begin to experience positive changes and usually require somewhere between six and ten meetings. Of course, some clients may benefit from either a shorter or longer involvement.
